=====From the Office of the President of the 12 Colonies====
It is with great urgency that I must enact the following as an emergency provision to take effect immediately.
Provision 081009A- Stop Loss Action hereby invoked. All active service member's end service date is being temporarily suspended in order to help with our defense effort. All Active reservist are to report for duty at their designated Battlestar. All Recently retired service members will be called back for duty. Reduction of 6500 troops from Sanctuary to be reassigned to Battlestars. Remaining troops on Sanctuary to total no more than 6500
Provision 081009B- Job Security- All Colonial Jobs are secure from any threats foreign and domestic. All Jobs hereby require colonial citizenship to obtain. Grandfather Clause- Jobs obtained before this provision are safe so long as it does not violate any previous agreements with Colonial Defense Forces. Violations of agreements may lead to arrest.
Provision 081009C- Snack Guarantee- All Snack Machines on Government Property (including Battlestars) will remain fully stocked at all times.

Fleet Security :: Arcturus Negron Convicted and Sentenced to Life in Prison |

|
Arcturus Negron was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in the River Delta after a dramatic conclusion to his trial for the attempted assassination of Vice President Vicky Vielle.
Defense and prosecutors had agreed to a plea bargain in which the defendant would plead guilty in exchange for a light sentence of just 2 years in prison.
People in the courtroom were shocked, especially victim Vicky Vielle, who took the stand to say how horrifying the act was.
Judges sitting on the tribunal, Angelica Nephilim, Dollwife Pink and Ronon Maximus surprised the courtroom by announcing a sentence of life in prison.
Defense counsel Haki Tuqiri expresed bitter resentment over having agreed to the deal and having it overturned by the tribunal. Recently appointed Attorney General Datan Lanzet was equally disappointed it seems, that the bargain he struck was found to be unacceptable to the court.
