PAC Has Been Left Behind

As we look back at our life over the past few months, so many stories
have made their way to conversations. Little pieces of our history
shared in dark corner conversations, over cigarettes and past its prime
coffee. FNS takes a moment to bring you some of those stories.
Reminding us all, just how much we have fought for what little we have
left.

One such remembrance tells the story of those brave
souls that fought to keep Pacifica afloat as the cylons came to destroy us once and for all. Humanity's resilience, once again, proved not to be outdone. FNS remembers:

As the Mars Day celebration was underway, Cylons began their merciless attack on Sanctuary and the ships that remained in orbit. Fleet engineers, civilian and military, banded together in a hurried search to find cylon tracking devices that intelligence indicated were placed through the ship. Unfortunately, cylons attacked before the sweep was complete and they civilian fleet was left to jump away while the battlestars fended off the enemy as best they could until all the devices were located.

During the chaos, Pacifica covered the civilian ships as they jumped to the emergency location. Not all ships were able to escape the attack and over 10, 000 souls were lost that day. The Brunnehilde suffered the same fate and was last seen in a decaying orbit around the planet after her crew made an emergency escape using what was left of the battlestar's raptor fleet. Pacifica incurred major damage and was barely able to spool up their FTL drive and rejoin the fleet. The Battlestar was ablaze, and the ship was going to be lost. The Commanader ordered all crew abandon ship, to save themselves as he vented the atmosphere to put out the last of the fires. Commander Perry was severely injured while carrying out his heroic duties and was left bedridden for several months following this ordeal.

Commander Perry, like the thousands in the fleet he has stood to represent did not give up. Cylons seemed to have the upper hand and our end looked imminent. Thousands of lives were lost and one of our Battlestars destroyed. From his burning ship, he could have taken one last breath and given in. No more running. No more fighting. No more misery. But the Commander stood tall. He ordered his men and woman to safety and stayed behind to get the job done. His efforts meant that many of us will live to fight another day, along side the now repaired battlestar. As Commander Perry has demonstrated time and time again-so says humanity. We will never give up! SO SAY WE ALL!
One Story Out of Many

FLEET NEWS SERVICES
Special Edition: Fleet News Service Remembers
By Reporter Alyaa Moonwall

As we look back at our life over the past few months, so many stories have made their way to conversations. Little pieces of our history shared in dark corner conversations, over cigarettes and past its prime coffee. FNS takes a moment to bring you some of those stories. Reminding us all, just how much we have fought for what little we have left.

One such remembrance tells the story of those brave souls that fought to save the home we had made on Sanctuary as cylons captured the Tyllium Queen, her crew and residents. FNS remembers:

Horrible and trying for everyone directly involved in the battle grounds. An excruciating wait for those on the side lines. This is just one person's story, a first hand experience of the exhausting week and horrors many had to face.

CSA Director Gnosis Aljon watched the occupation and the fight to end it from the colonial-held northlands. She expressed that the fighting had been intense all week. There were many mortar fires and the buildings on the surface had experienced heavy damage. Numerous Tyllium Queen crew and residents as well as several members of a scientific expedition had been inside the TQ when the cylons had decided to make their attack. Many people hid in various hard to access areas of the ship, sometimes their only means of travel from one area to the other being the ventilation system. Unfortunately, during a brave attempt to gather supplies and attempt to communicate with the colonials, Tyllium Queen's own captain-Bob Glazner. Aljon knew the result of his capture would not be pleasant, however she watched horrified as his captors played their game of torture in full view of the colonial stronghold.

Cylon Centurions held Glazner, weakened by several beatings, as a device was strapped to his back. Unknown at the time, it was later discovered that the contained a very dangerous chemical. The chemical is called Vitrite and consists of 70% cyanogen chloride with 30% arsenic trichloride, with the arsenic trichloride serving as a stabilizer to prevent the formation of the trimer. Depending on the degree of intoxication, symptoms may range from from tearing, convulsions to cardiac arrest. Glazner was marched toward the colonial stronghold and allowed to proceed unescorted, his face steady and calm belying the shear terror he felt knowing his death was imminent.

The cylon designed bomb was made so that if it was removed from Glazner's back, it would explode. Those that attempted to rescue Glazner had to put on masks and emergency gear, so should device explode no one else would be seriously injured. After several trying minutes, a decision was made and the device was ripped away from Glazner's body. Glazner ended up with a horrible rash and had to be treated. MCIS Agent, Kris Pennell had to be treated for breathing problems, after inhaling some of the poison. Others were cleaned up by the HAZMAT team and fortunately, no other injuries were reported in that incident.

But the cylons were not going to stop their torturous ways just because their attempt to disable the colonial stronghold did not work. The next day, believed to be a Wednesday, cylons proudly displayed a recovered pilot before executing him. His hanging body could still be seen dangling from the Tyllium Queen's bow-in full view of Aljon and those with her. A brave and rushed attempt was made by CSA Director Aljon and the others, to save this person, but unfortunately it was too late. The person's neck had been broken by the fall. Days later, when a rescue attempt was launched, Marines did recover the body for burial.

Throughout the week, advancements were halted, though a strong division line was held. The cylons did not make a full advance to the north though they did engage in guerrilla warfare, attacking water tanks, supply lines and communications towers in the north.

By Saturday, Aljon watched as the marines planned an assault to rescue and retake the Tyllium Queen. She assisted in the assault, providing cover fire. After special ops style entry, Aljon, her team and the marines were able to recover the civilians who were there.

Aljon still gets up everyday, goes to work and does her job to keep the civilian fleet safe. But she remembers the chaos and destruction that she witnessed first hand during the Tyllium Queen occupation. Those memories make her who she is today.

HEROS PREVAIL BUT AT WHAT COST?

HEROS PREVAIL BUT AT WHAT COST?
BY Reporter Alyaa Moonwall
FLEET NEWS SERVICE

Last week, during the attack on the surface, Captain Bob Glazner was on TQ when he received a distress call. A women ran down the hall of the Queen, shouting for help. This was an indication that something bad was taking place. The women informed the captain, that there was "a war going on outside", and they both decided to make a run for Fort Sukayami. Mr. Glazner and the women armed themselves and headed out, avoiding contact with anyone.

Both made it to the North entrance of the fort, but were met from all sides by cylon fire. Mr. Glazner started firing while the woman drew the the cylon's fire in the opposite direction. Glazner was pulled over the fort wall by a rope, while Katerina continued to bravely fight the centurions until marines arrived to save the day. In the chaos, Captain Glazner who only knew the woman as Katerina says, "That woman, saved my life"

Former CSA Agent, Pete Warwillow bravely led several civilians to the saftey of the Fort, away from the burnining Colonial hall. He did this while trying to hold off the Cylons with nothing but his sidearm. Centurions and raiders destroyed the recently rebuilt apartment complex near Colonial Hall. Colonial Hall was severely damaged and many distraught civilians watchED its ceiling come crashing down as they fled into the Fort. Witnesses reported hearing a young child crying for his mother but the child couldn not be located amidst the smoke and chaos of gunfire. It is unknown as to whether the child made it out alive.

As he ran toward the safety of the Fort, Warwillow noticed movement near the smoking temple. Professor Lillystar Parx was found hiding in the cover of the smoldering ruins. Along with a Marine who yelled for the Secretary of Education to be protected at all costs, Warwillow braved a blaze of centurion fire to reach the official. As the marine provided coverfire, Warwillow bravely escorted the professor to safety. Warwillow loaded his pistol with smoke shells and provided covering fire as the marine made it back across the road to the fort, under a shroud of smoke. They managed to get to the gates, but Warwillow was shot in the back by a Centurion. He was stunned and fell inside the perimeter. His brave actions saved the secretary of education, who escaped the ordeal with only minor injuries. A military spokesperson said the marine involved was "just doing his job to protect the people of this fleet. Secretary Parx was lucky to have his assistance." Secretary Parx could not be reached for comment but her assistant reported that after a brief reunion with her family, she would return to service of the people.

As for Warwillow, his flack vest took most of the damage and he was back out fighting against the cylons within minutes. When outside the fort walls he claims he saw someone by the apartment buildings that had been destroyed. He claimed it was a human surrounded by Cents. Some believe that this was the small child that Bob Glazner heard as the apartment collapsed. As Warwillow raced toward the centurions, he tripped and fell while dodging gunfire. He woke up later, in sickbay.

Bob Glazner, now in the Fort's medical facility, assisted in medical triage. There he found a humanoid Kes Tyran who had been shot in the arm while protecting unarmed citizens near Colonial Hall. Professor Parx provided medical aid to the cylon woman as Mr. Glazner administered first aid and and stabilized the injured. Glazner who had been shot in the leg during his escape also helped treat Mr. Warwillow after he was brought into the facility by colonial soilders.

Everyone who was involved in this, whether it was to fight, defend, or to help the injured, should be thanked. If it wasn't for these brave men and women, this attack may have been the last memory of many in this fleet.

Once again, humanity has shown its ability to persevere. Constant attacks on the surface, our fuel and food sources dimishing, our loved ones dying yet we refuse to give up our home. Everything appears to be collapsing around us, and it makes me wonder how much longer we can go on. I feel as though we are Humpty Dumpty and we are all sitting on that wall about to have a that big fall. Only time can tell.

7TH Attacked

Last night at approxminately 7:30 a ROL was spotted off the hanger of 7th. While flight control was secured, Cents forced their way on board. The Cents were thrown back, and destroyed the lobby of 7th. Residence of 7th and those visiting try their hardes to defend. Many were injuried, some worse then others.
Triage and medical was conducted on 7th's sickbay by Vanity Little and Dr. Chronis Eldridge with assistance from a wounded Major Schridde.

The reasoning behind this attack is still unclear, but one can assume that the Cents are after something, and if not, they are out to destroy our lively hood.

Alyaa Moonwall

SENIOR AGENT RESIGNS

SENIOR AGENT RESIGNS
BY Alyaa Moonwall
FLEET NEWS SERVICE

Senior Agent Pete Warwillow has resigned, from the CSA, under suspicion Director Gnosis Aljon.

During the recent attacks on the surface, Mr. Warwillow was shot in the back, hit his head on a rock and passed out. He reports his "memory is very fuzzy on what happened" during the attacks. The last memory he has is being on the planet. Understandably he was quite shocked to wake up in the luxury liner, 7th Heaven's, medical facility. Deputy Director Krislynn Pennell and a colonial firefighter were by his side when he regained consciousness. Mr. Warwillow can only assume that they were the ones who brought him to sick bay.

Pennell, who cared for Mr. Warwillow as he recovered, informed him that Director Aljon had requested an arrest warrant be issued for Warwillow. Warwillow has no idea why the warrant is being pursed. "I am shocked. I am upset. I serve this fleet in the best way I can and now this. It is concerning," he says.

According to Warwillow, DD Pennell was calmly asking hime what had taken place on the surface when Aljon stormed in. On medication at the time due to his injuries, he was not completely aware of the seriousness of her accusations.

During the attacks, Mr. Warwillow was assigned to protect a certain small colonial citizen. To ensure her safety, the agent moved her from location to location during the attack. This person would have been in imminent danger if not moved, and Warwillw vehemently asserts he was doing his job by keeping this person safe. According to Warwillow, Aljon is upset about his decision to move the person being protected and accused him of other offenses. Warwillow refused to discuss the "other offenses" with this reporter. He did manage to say that DD Aljon was very clear about her motivation. He quotes her as saying, "To be honest, I don't trust you Agent".

Due to what he feels is a "great injustice" Warwillow decided that he could not be an effective agent if the hierarchy", as he refers to DD Gnosis Aljon, could not trust him. After stating this as fact to the director, Aljon took that as his official resignation and jumped at the chance to strip him of his powers.

FNS will continue to investigate the facts surrounding this situation and keep colonial citizens informed.
KIDNAPPER COMMITS SUICIDE

KIDNAPPER COMMITS SUICIDE
BY Reporter Alyaa Moonwall
Fleet News Service

One of the men responsible for the heinous kiddnapping of pilot Eliza Badger's got past security, outside the Seventh Heaven's sickbay and held her hostage for one million cubits. Badger was sedated and unaware of what was taking place around her. Lucky for the pilot, quick on her feet CSA Agent Gnosis Aljon was nearby. Aljon used her wits and training to calm kidnapper Jack Allen.

Unfortunately, Allen was focused on his son's well being. Allen called his son Bob, and stated that Bob needed surgery, due to a spinal injury. It is rumored that this injury was caused by the bullet from an automatic rifle. Jack Allen accused a Marine of carelessly shooting the boy during a raid on the surface. Allen appeared to be upset over the fact that his child had to wait for treatment since medical supplies are scarce. He accused the government of sanctioning medical treatment for "important people" like soldiers and political figures while the everyday Joe suffered.

Raptor Pilot Ensign Vash Lorgsval and Marine LCpl Aaen Vlodovic bravely stormed the room to take control and establish order. Tear gas was thrown in to distract Allen, so Badger could be taken from him and no longer be used as a shield. Asleep due to the sedatives, Badger had no idea how close to death she was, yet again. As it became apparent that Allen would not be leaving the room on his own, the coward became suicidal. Allen's last words were, "Gnosis, tell my son I love him", as he pulled the trigger and ended his life.

Eliza Badger is currently safe and is recuperating from her injuries. And it is hopeful that she will make a quick recovery now that her horrendous nightmare is over. FNS wishes to express deep thanks to all the brave people who helped save Eliza and put this terrorist to rest.
