Raptor Mishap

Raptor 07-2321 Piloted by Lt Tye and Lt Bound were on a recon outside the fleets Dradis coverage when their ship was struck by a Small Asteroid.  The raptor was destroyed killing the ECO Lt Bound and critically injuring the Pilot Lt Tye.  It appears the asteroid struck the raptor in the midsection causing massive system failures, this asteroid was no larger then a Pyramid Ball. Raptors from the 27 ARS were dispatched and were able to rescue Lt Tye and the flight recorder. 

We have dispatched further recon flights into the area as a precaution, based on the data collected we believe this to be an isolated incident.  There are no flight restrictions at this time, please have all your pilots review all emergency procedures and ensure all life support equipment is operational.  Any flight directors having any questions or concerns should contact Major Contepomi, immediately. 

Please say a prayer for Lt Bound and for Lt Tye.

It has come to my attention that The Consortium has left a warning to the CSA. The Consortium is making and has acted on threats, feeling as though their voices are not being heard.

They have apparently made many attempts to make their voices heard but Commander Perry has evaded them, while Admiral Lucero apparently was lucky that their attempts to harm him failed. There is the threat that the Co - Conspirators in the Civilian Governement will not be as lucky as to thier punishment fall through the cracks. The term "Either you stop them, or we will" was used, which only makes the threats more real and possible.

It was asked if the uncooperative friends of the Military are missing another Officer, and the warning goes into saying that the Officer has already been injuried, but it's claimed they are taking good care of her until she is released.

The warning continues in saying that these things must be done to make sure that the Human Race and their victory survive in the  this War, ending with "Welcome to the Revolution" and was signed by the Consortium.

I urge anyone who can help this officer to please do it, her life may at risk!

Members of the fleet gathered around to remember the 93 souls that were lost during the unfortunate happening on BH. It was asked that their souls be lifted by the Lords of Kobol, their burdens taken away and allow for enternal life in the Fields of Elysium. Individuals such as Sgt. Luskin, who was a retired Colonial Defence Force Sgt., Ensign Kadia who worked for four years to earn her wings, and Crewman Ricky who made a new home with us here, where just the few that were named out of the many, to show the heartfelt dedication and passion these people had to serve, protect, help and call BH their home.

Though these 93 sould will not be written in history books, they should be remembered by each and everyone of us. We should hold a special place in our hearts for them. While everyone is going through their day to day tasks, take a moment, and thank the Gods for another day of being alive and appericate the lives around you.
